The Strip has always been a place for big sights and big hotels but LVXP is going to take it to a whole new level—literally. With Nevada’s tallest towers, a huge arena and endless entertainment LVXP is not just another Strip addition. It’s an attempt to redefine the Las Vegas skyline and possibly the city’s future as a sports and entertainment mecca.
If approved LVXP will stretch the Strip higher and further than ever before with three new record breaking towers, each 752 feet tall—taller than any building in the state. The project will go beyond just hotels and include attractions for tourists and locals and is already generating buzz as a potential game-changer for Vegas.

Breaking records: Nevada’s tallest towers
Las Vegas is known for its big hotels and big landmarks but LVXP wants to set a new height record. Currently the Fontainebleau Las Vegas is the tallest building in Nevada at 737 feet but the proposed towers of LVXP will be 15 feet taller. If all goes according to plan these new high-rises could soon be the tallest structures in Nevada and add even more bling to the Strip’s skyline.
But it’s not just about building tall—it’s about building something transformative. Each tower will have luxury hotel rooms and residential condos so people can stay, live or invest in the glamour of Las Vegas.
The ultimate entertainment destination: Arena, theatre and more
At the heart of the LVXP project is a massive entertainment complex to attract big events and major sports teams. Included in the plans is a 6,000 seat Grand Theatre for concerts and shows and an 18,000 seat multipurpose arena that could even bring a professional NBA team to the desert city. Las Vegas has been positioning itself as a sports city for the past few years and this arena would solidify its reputation as a city where you can see it all.
In addition to the arena and theatre LVXP will have:
- A casino with new games
- Multiple restaurants and bars
- Spa and health club
- Pools and outdoor spaces
- Luxury and everyday retail
This is an all-in-one destination for tourists and locals.
The designers
When it comes to a Las Vegas landmark, the team is everything. Steelman Partners, a Las Vegas based architecture firm, was selected to design the architecture for LVXP. Known for their high end flashy designs Steelman Partners has gone with a silver and gold glass exterior for the towers. Tower C’s curved exterior will be a real showstopper.
Key players on the project team have big project experience. James R. Frasure former D.R. Horton executive and Nick Tomasino former head of construction at the Sphere are leading the charge. Paul Steelman the architect will be handling the design. They have experience in Las Vegas and beyond so LVXP should be in good hands.
Location with history
LVXP will be located between the Sahara Las Vegas and Fontainebleau a site that was once home to the Wet N Wild Water Park. This location has a history of projects that never got off the ground including the All Net Arena led by former UNLV basketball player Jackie Robinson. Unlike its predecessors the LVXP project has gotten positive feedback from Clark County so it has a better chance of moving forward.
The site still has remnants of the old water park in the ground. If LVXP gets built it could be the catalyst to bring life to an area that has been waiting for decades.
Approval process and timeline
Right now the LVXP project team is working on getting approvals from several key entities including the Clark County Commission and the Federal Aviation Administration. The FAA approval is required because of the height of the buildings but with local approval already in place optimism is high.
If everything goes as planned the project could start construction as early as 2025. Completion of the project is set for 2029 so in 5 years Las Vegas could have a new skyline with high rises and a major entertainment center in the middle.
A new vision for Las Vegas
LVXP can do more than reshape the Las Vegas Strip it can redefine what’s possible for a city of entertainment. With high rises, a state of the art arena and luxurious amenities LVXP is building more than just buildings it’s creating experiences and spaces that will set the standard for Las Vegas and beyond.
LVXP will go big when it comes to making a city even more iconic. By the end of the decade Las Vegas will be shiny, tall and full of surprises.
