What Is the “MrBeast Experience” at Resorts World Las Vegas?

Posted by on

Las Vegas is no stranger to flashy promotions, but this one might just take the cake—or, more accurately, the mystery gift bag. Resorts World Las Vegas has announced the “MrBeast Experience,” a three-day hotel package inspired by YouTube megastar MrBeast (aka Jimmy Donaldson). If you’ve ever dreamed of being in one of his over-the-top challenge videos, this might be the closest you’ll get—just without the cameras, the YouTube fame, or the guarantee of actually winning anything.

The big hook? One lucky guest will find $10,000 inside their gift bag. The other guests? Well, they’ll get a bag too… just without the cash.

What’s Included in the “MrBeast Experience”?

The “MrBeast Experience” isn’t just about hoping for a big payday. Resorts World promises a series of “on-site activations”, though details on what those are remain vague. Expect something playful, possibly themed around MrBeast’s signature mix of surprise giveaways and wacky competitions.

However, one thing is noticeably missing: MrBeast himself. As far as we know, Jimmy Donaldson won’t actually be making an appearance, meaning fans won’t get a chance to meet the internet’s favourite money-giving machine in person. Instead, the experience seems to lean more into his brand’s theme of big surprises and over-the-top rewards.

Here’s what we do know about the package:

  • A stay at Resorts World Las Vegas
  • On-site experiences (details TBD)
  • A gift bag, with one containing a $10,000 voucher (redeemable for cash)
  • A 99% chance of not getting the $10,000

Sounds fun… unless you’re in that unlucky 99%.

Is This the True “MrBeast Experience”?

MrBeast is famous for giving away life-changing amounts of money, whether it’s paying off people’s debts, donating millions to charity, or staging elaborate challenge videos where contestants walk away with cars, houses, or suitcases of cash.

So, does the “MrBeast Experience” live up to his reputation? Well, sort of. There is a large cash giveaway involved, but it’s far from the dramatic, highly produced chaos of his YouTube videos. The main difference? You have to pay for the chance to win.

For comparison:

Real MrBeast Video“MrBeast Experience” at Resorts World
You enter a contest for freeYou pay for a hotel package
You compete in extreme challengesYou wait to see if your bag has money
MrBeast hands you a pile of cashYou pick up a mystery bag at check-in
Millions of people watch you winYou win (or lose) in private

While his YouTube giveaways involve surprise generosity, this Las Vegas version is more like a lottery dressed up as an experience.

Why Is Resorts World Doing This?

Las Vegas is all about big, bold attractions, and Resorts World is clearly tapping into MrBeast’s enormous influence to draw in younger visitors. With his recent Amazon Prime show, Beast Games, racking up massive viewership, his brand is stronger than ever.

In a statement, Reed Duchscher, CEO of MrBeast’s company, said:

“Partnering with Resorts World Las Vegas allows us to kick off 2025 in true MrBeast fashion—combining fun, surprise, and generosity. I’m excited to see the incredible moments we’ll create together and to make this year truly unforgettable for everyone.”

That sounds great, but let’s be real—most people would be more excited if MrBeast himself was directly involved.

Will People Actually Book This?

Probably.

MrBeast has a massive fanbase, and just the possibility of winning $10,000 might be enough to tempt some people to book a stay. After all, people already gamble in Vegas with worse odds than this. At least here, you get a gift bag, a hotel stay, and some themed activities.

But for others, the 1% chance of winning big money might not be enough to justify the hype—especially when MrBeast himself is nowhere to be seen.

Would you take the gamble? Or does this feel like a classic Vegas-style “house always wins” situation?
