If you’re planning a trip to Las Vegas and love a good party, you’ll want to hear about this. The Fontainebleau Las Vegas just went all out with a jaw-dropping upgrade to its popular LIV and LIV Beach, turning the whole setup into a massive indoor-outdoor entertainment playground. And by massive, we’re talking over 80,000 square feet of pure party bliss.

A Major Upgrade That Fans Were Begging For
So, why the big renovation? Well, according to David Grutman, founder of Groot Hospitality and LIV, it all kicked off after their first show featuring DJ John Summit. They had to turn away over 1,000 people—yeah, that’s a lot of frustrated partygoers. So, instead of keeping the daytime beach club and nightclub separate, they merged them into one seamless experience. And it’s not just about the space; it’s about creating a proper “festival-like” atmosphere.
The whole revamp came with an eye-watering eight-figure price tag, but judging by the results, it was worth every penny. Now, visitors can enjoy a more connected experience with music pumping day and night.
What’s New At LIV And LIV Beach?
Here’s what you can expect when you step into the newly upgraded LIV and LIV Beach:
- Two entrances for different vibes: General admission folks enter through the second floor, while VIPs with fancy table, cabana, or bungalow reservations get the posh, field-level entrance on the resort’s pool deck.
- More dance floor action: They lowered the stage and expanded the dance floor at LIV Nightclub, so now everyone feels like they’re part of the action.
- Backstage access for regular fans: Yep, you read that right. A new ticketing option called GA+ lets you into a private backstage bar—a first in Las Vegas where those areas were usually just for the ultra-rich.
- Supercharged visuals and sound: New LED enhancements and upgraded sound systems keep the party energy high.
- Pizza cravings sorted: Table customers can now order slices from Miami Slice. Because what’s better than a late-night pizza hit?
The Ultimate Poolside Experience
When you step outside to LIV Beach, things get just as exciting. They’ve upped the table count by 33, with each table featuring its own private safe and a specially curated menu from Groot Hospitality.
For those who prefer living the luxe life, the cabanas and bungalows come with private pools, bathrooms, and premium dishes from Komodo and Papi Steak—Grutman’s renowned Miami restaurants.
What If You Can’t Decide Between The Club And The Beach?
Here’s the coolest part. If the nightclub is too packed or you just want a breather, you can chill at one of the indoor overflow tables. From there, you can still catch the outdoor performances via a live feed while staying cool and comfy. And when the night rolls on, you can wander back to LIV Beach to catch DJ sets or enjoy the music from inside.
A Star-Studded Lineup
If you’re into big-name DJs, you’re in for a treat. The current lineup includes heavyweights like Tiësto, Metro Boomin, Dom Dolla, and David Guetta. It’s basically a mini music festival every weekend.
From Miami To Vegas
The whole LIV vibe started in Miami about 15 years ago and was a huge hit there. So, when Grutman and Jeff Soffer (the big boss of Fontainebleau Development) decided to bring their magic to Vegas, it was pretty much destined to be a smash. The revamped LIV and LIV Beach opened at the end of 2023 and quickly earned a spot on Travel + Leisure’s 2024 It List of the best new hotels.
Whether you’re looking for a wild nightclub experience or a swanky poolside party, LIV and LIV Beach have definitely leveled up. If you’re heading to Las Vegas, this should be on your must-visit list.
