The holidays are here and for many it’s the season of giving. But if you’re in Vegas and wondering where to donate those toys or clothes, look no further. Here’s a list of local donation drives to help bring joy to kids and families in need. Whether it’s a warm coat, a toy for a tot or even a charity raffle, there’s plenty of ways to spread the cheer this year.
North Las Vegas Coat Drive
When: Dec 2 – 15 Where: Multiple locations
Got a coat or two collecting dust in your closet? The City of North Las Vegas is having a coat drive to help keep kids and adults warm this winter. Donate new or gently used coats at the following locations:
- Walmart Supercenter: 3950 W Lake Mead Blvd
- Red Rock Running Company:
- 675 W Dorrell Ln Suite 160, North Las Vegas
- 120 S Green Valley Pkwy #144, Henderson
- 7379 S Rainbow Blvd Suite 165, Las Vegas
- 7930 W Tropical Pkwy Suite 150, Las Vegas

Maya Cinemas’ Movie Pass Deal
When: Nov 27 – Dec 23 Where: Maya Cinemas, 2195 North Las Vegas Blvd (near Carey Ave)
If you love movies, this is a no brainer. Donate at least $10 at Maya Cinemas and you’ll get two free movie passes valid Jan 1 – Feb 28, 2025. Your donation will go to local charities and you get to go to the movies.
UNLV Hockey and Moe’s Toy Drive
When: Dec 13 and 14 Where: City National Arena, 1550 Pavilion Center Drive
UNLV Hockey is partnering with a local nurse practitioner to host a Toys for Tots drive. Bring a new, unwrapped toy to their games against ASU and get $5 off your ticket. Plus, Santa will be there so it’s a great family event!
Turbo Tint Toy Drive
When: Nov 10 – Dec 10 Where: Two locations

- 3550 E Post Rd, Suite 300, Las Vegas
Drop off new, unwrapped toys at Turbo Tint and you’ll be entered into a raffle to win a $100 Amazon gift card. Plus, for every toy donated, Moran Family of Brands (Turbo Tint’s parent company) will donate $1 to Toys for Tots up to $5,000!
Fun fact: Toys for Tots has donated over 677 million toys to 301 million children, so your gift makes a big difference.
Platinum Plastic Surgery Toy Drive
When: Dec 2 – Dec 9 Where: 5824 S Durango Dr. Ste 110
Want to pamper yourself while you give? Drop off a toy worth at least $20 at Platinum Plastic Surgery and they’ll give you $50 off any Medspa treatment. It’s a win-win: you help kids and you get to treat yourself.
