Swimming Pools at the Tropicana Las Vegas

No matter what pool is chosen, the Strip offers great deals in outdoor relaxation. Tropicana Las Vegas is no exception, with their pool deck that checks all of the boxes. Red and white chairs line the pool, with umbrellas to help the palm trees shade you from the Vegas sun. Once in the pool, get ready to splash around the center island that gives the water an island feel, or swim up to a blackjack table to get some gambling in. Tropicana Las Vegas is one of the only pools offering swim-up blackjack, so when the tables are open, don’t miss your chance to win big in the water. Pool season begins in March. Access the pool from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. each day to take advantage of the best hours of Vegas sunshine. In the event of chilly desert weather, the Tropicana pool is heated for peak comfort for swimmers of all ages. Bites to eat and signature cocktails are available for purchase at the hotel during select hours each day, to fuel a fun day by the pool. Take them back to your daybed or cabana, which are available for rent. Tropicana Las Vegas allows locals and non-hotel guests to enjoy the pool facilities for a small fee. The pool is complementary to hotel guests—just don’t forget that trusty room card to enter the pool deck.  

Balcony Options at the Tropicana Las Vegas

Are you bringing children with you on your Las Vegas vacation? Tropicana will have plenty for them to do. For instance, the outdoor pool and whirlpool area is kid friendly, though any child under the age of eighteen must be accompanied by an adult. Tropicana Las Vegas is on the South of the Strip

While Tropicana is centrally located to many classic Las Vegas sights, it does sit on the southern end of the Las Vegas Strip. If you choose to explore the rest of that end of town, you’ll get to experience the Luxor and Mandalay Bay resorts. Across the street from the Tropicana is the Excalibur, and the rest of the Las Vegas Strip is to the north.

Almost any destination on the Las Vegas Strip is walkable, so be sure to head north and explore places like M&M’s World, Park MGM, the ARIA CityCenter, or Caesars Palace. Just make sure you have excellent walking shoes, or a rideshare app ready to go in case you’d rather catch a ride home that night.

Finally, you may choose the Bungalow Deluxe Room, and look down upon the pool or the city. These rooms include private balconies, and are near to Tropicana’s restaurants.

Tropicana Las Vegas is a Hotel with Smoking Rooms

Tropicana Las Vegas may offer some smoking rooms. These rooms are first come, first served, so there is no guarantee.

There are many areas of Tropicana’s property that do allow smoking outside of your personal room or suite. For instance, the entirety of the casino floor is open to smoking, and ashtrays are provided. You may also smoke outside the premises, as the Strip is just steps outside Tropicana’s door.

Tropicana Las Vegas has rooms with a view of the Strip

Tropicana Las Vegas has sat in the perfect location for amazing views of the Las Vegas Strip since it opened so many years ago. Due to its location, you may be able to see the towers of Excalibur across the street, the highrises of New York New York, or the Luxor’s pyramid.

Certain rooms do offer these views. If you would like to ensure that your room has a Strip view, browse the many room offerings at booking. Consider suites like the Sky Villa One Bedroom, or even the Presidential Suite. Should you choose a room instead, consider The Deluxe City View Room.

Tropicana Las Vegas has Suites

There are many lovely suites to choose from when booking at Tropicana, including five different one bedroom options. The first one bedroom suite to consider is the Paradise Suite.The Paradise Suite has 906 square feet of warm living space, set in tropical decor. White plantation shutters and original artwork from a Latin artist finish off the feel of this room.

Another choice is the Club Suite, which includes a King bed with a Euro Top Serta Perfect Sleeper mattress. Are you traveling to Las Vegas for work? Many companies send employees to Las Vegas to have meetings at the Tropicana Conference Center and Business Center, which is located in the same tower as our Club Suites. Walk to work from your room, and then straight to the casino floor for some rest and relaxation.

Another one bedroom option is the Pool Villa Suite. These smaller suites overlook Tropicana’s lush pool area. Sandstone tiles and Banana Wool area rugs make visitors feel as if they have never left the refreshing atmosphere of the beach.

The Grand Palm Suite is also one bedroom, though especially luxurious for a suite considered a one bedroom. This suite has 1,700 square feet of space between its master bedroom, master bath, wet bar area, and very large whirlpool tub.

Finally, the Chairman Suite is the most splendid of all one bedroom suites at Tropicana. The Chairman Suite is 1,729 square feet of lavish amenities, with multiple areas to sit and relax with guests. There are two full bathrooms here as well. On top of the grandeur, you’ll be able to enjoy either a mountain or Las Vegas Strip view.

Tropicana Las Vegas has Two Bedroom Suites

If you have a larger party, you may be interested in 2 bedroom suites. The 2 bedroom suites at Tropicana certainly take guests’ breath away.

Sky Villa Two Bedroom

Breathtaking is exactly how to describe the Sky Villa Two Bedroom at Tropicana. This suite has two King beds equipped with a Serta Perfect Sleeper mattress. The master bedroom even has a gold leaf headboard and walk-in closets. The room also has an expansive living area that has decorative tables and modern furniture, a 70-inch television and two marble-topped bar areas.

If that wasn’t luxurious enough, you can also order an in-suite spa treatment in your private massage room. There is even a separate entrance for your masseuse to enter the suite.

Villa One

Villa One is another 2 bedroom at Tropicana. It is no ordinary 2 bedroom, however. This “mega-suite” has two full bedrooms, two full bathrooms, one half bath, and a private gym and massage room. The decor here blends the indoor atmosphere of a Las Vegas suite and the desert outside. Invite guests over for drinks at the pool, or simply relax on your private balcony.

Tropicana Las Vegas has Three Bedroom Suites

The 3 bedroom suite offered by Tropicana is actually their Presidential Suite, with over 2,200 square feet of space. But, you don’t need to be the President to stay here.

A six piece dining table will allow you to entertain guests or present a fine meal to your family. There are three bedrooms, of course, two with queen beds and one with a king bed. There are two full bathrooms, with whirlpool tubs and steam showers. Of course, booking such a room will get you the best view. Thus, you’ll see the lights of the Las Vegas Strip from your room each night.

Tropicana Las Vegas has Penthouse Suites

Want to feel especially fancy during your Las Vegas vacation? Book the Penthouse Loft at Tropicana. This one bedroom penthouse is anything but small, with up to 1,738 square feet, and covers two stories.

There are two entrances to this penthouse, one on each floor. So, if you’d like to avoid taking the stairs, you can always take the elevator up to the next entrance. Choose between a Strip or city view, and shut out the bright Las Vegas lights at night with your white plantation shutters, found in every room at Tropicana.

In addition, the Sky Villa One Bedroom Suite sits on the 20th floor of the resort. While this technically isn’t a penthouse, it definitely has the feel of one. With corner, floor-to-ceiling views of the Strip, modern decorations, and heightened technology features, you’ll feel like royalty. You can even request a Sky Villa with its own pool table.
