The Mardi Gras Inn is an all-suite motel just off the North Strip located behind the Wynn Golf Club. Rooms are spacious, with separate living and sleeping areas. They offer King, Queen, and Double Queen rooms, with some Queen rooms having floor-level pool views. While the Mardi Gras Inn suites are tastefully simple, they are very roomy and comfortable, whether traveling alone, with your family, or with a small group. Both smoking and non-smoking rooms are available for guest convenience.
The central courtyard at the Mardi Gras Inn provides guests with a desert oasis of ample green space. Trees and shaded picnic tables offer a great place to sit and relax. The gated pool area includes shaded tables and sun loungers, plus a separate hot tub. The courtyard is mainly secluded, surrounded by three-story buildings, making it an ideal retreat for families and groups.
This location has convenient access to major Strip resorts. You’ll find the Fashion Show Mall with plenty of food options and shopping, the Adventuredome theme park, and many other attractions nearby. The Convention Center Monorail station is just a short walk away. The Monorail has six other stations so that you can travel much of the rest of the Strip with ease.
Also available on-site is their “Bon Temps Cafe” restaurant, open 24/7 for both guests and visitors. They boast an assortment of sports programming and large televisions for catching your favorite team even if you’re away from home. This pub-style eatery has a relaxed atmosphere with friendly staff and can accommodate large groups if needed.
The “Big Easy Casino” offers a wide assortment of machines, including slots, poker, and keno. Sign up for their generous player’s club to earn a match play promotion and find out what other exciting offers they have. Their most popular are FREE-bate Wednesdays and Sensational Saturdays, but most players enjoy earning free slot play with the points they earn.
Swimming Pools at the Mardi Gras Las Vegas
Surrounded by the hotel buildings, the central courtyard provides plenty of secluded green space with trees and several picnic tables with umbrellas to shade the sun when enjoying the beautiful summer weather. Also located here is the gated pool and hot tub. The pool deck offers more tables with umbrellas for shade and loungers for those who want to catch a few rays while on vacation. Make a splash in the pool to cool off after venturing out to the Strip, or decide to make it a day and hang out pool-side. When you’re ready for lunch or dinner, head inside for a quick bite at the Bon Temps Cafe. If a long day of sightseeing has your feet sore, slip into the hot tub to relax for a bit. It’s the perfect time to make plans for the next day’s adventure. The separate spa in the gated pool area is quite large and will sit several adults. Be sure to ask housekeeping for the front desk for additional towels if you will be visiting the pool or spa. The pool is open daily, from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m., but is closed seasonally.

More family-friendly hotels on the Vegas Strip.Mardi Gras Las Vegas is on the North of the Strip
While not as densely packed as the Mid Strip or South Strip, the northern end of Las Vegas Boulevard is still home to some big resorts that offer fun attractions, fantastic shows, and fabulous shopping for adults and families alike.
The Fashion Show Mall is the largest stand-alone mall on the Strip, whereas most others are located inside resorts. Head here for the food court and some serious shopping over more than 2 million square feet. It’s hard not to notice with “The Cloud” canopy overhead and other unique architectural features.
Adventuredome at the Circus Circus is an indoor theme park with everything from kids’ rides to a roller coaster and log ride and even a midway with carnival games. If you’re more of a thrill-seeker, head to The STRAT, where you can shoot into the air at 45 mph on the Big Shot or hang over the edge of the 900-foot high SkyPod on the spinning “Insanity” ride.
If you’re looking for calmer attractions, and more down to Earth, check out those at Resorts World, Sahara Las Vegas, or even the Las Vegas Convention Center. The Fremont Street Experience and the Art District are also not too far away and offer plenty to do and see.
