Las Vegas is home to several amazing French restaurants, but few can match the Bouchon bistro at the Venetian Resort, located in the Venezia Tower. From Bouchon Buttermilk Biscuit Poulet to any dish with a side of their famous French fries, this restaurant is an experience you won’t want to miss. Executive chef Thomas Keller, one of the world’s most rewarded master chefs and owner of the celebrated French Laundry restaurants, offers elevated roast chicken entrees and classic French pastries, ranking among the best desserts in Las Vegas, with every seasonal menu in a dining room as immersive as a Paris sidewalk cafe.
The Bouchon Atmosphere
Bouchon at the Venetian is a portal to a French bistro in Paris, France. A magnificent french pewter bar is a focal point in the expansive dining room and screams Vegas opulence. The mosaic floor below and the antique light fixtures above wrap you in a truly unique atmosphere that you wouldn’t expect to experience in Las Vegas. Deep blue velvet banquettes with bistro-sized tables perfect for casual conversation seem to pull it all together. The Bouchon bistro offers weekend brunch with a blackboard menu featuring the daily specials, a style right out of a subtitled romantic movie.
French artist Paulin Paris hand-painted a series of murals seen as framed panels along the wall. Interior decorator, Adam Tihany, approached Paris about helping to bring the atmosphere of a French eatery into the Las Vegas dining room with their unique and distinctly French style.
The Bouchon Dress Code
Even with the fine dining atmosphere, this Las Vegas French restaurant only requires business casual attire. You should wear slacks with a neat shirt and dress shoes. Women should wear professional dresses or a casual dress shirt with a skirt or slacks. Open-toed shoes may be allowed if they are professional in appearance and not casual sandals. This is far from cheap eats in Vegas after a night out.
Thomas Keller: The Bouchon Executive Chef
Chef Thomas Keller is among the most rewarded French chefs worldwide and certainly in the US. His flagship restaurant in Napa Valley, the French Laundry, is consistently rated one of the top 50 restaurants in the world. Other restaurants in New York City, San Francisco, and now Las Vegas have earned him a combined eight three-star Michelin ratings. From the Surf Club restaurant located in the iconic Miami Club to his Mexican eatery, La Calenda, near one of his Bouchon bakeries in the Bay Area, Thomas Keller is an outstanding chef. He’s been named the best chef in America and the first American male chef named a Chevalier of the prestigious French Legion of Honor.
The Bouchon At The Venetian Menu
Steak Frites and roasted chicken are two of the most popular classic bistro dishes on the menu at Bouchon at the Venetian, earning accolades from previous visitors who’ve ordered them. Popular hors d’oeuvres include terrine de foie gras and oreilles de cochon. They are highly regarded for having one of the best fruits de mer menus in Las Vegas, but it’s hard to beat their authentic French fries. The extensive dinner menu, including fine cheeses, caviar, and salads, are all prepared using classic French techniques. It’s enough to add this establishment to the best restaurants in Las Vegas.
Weekend brunch is possibly the most popular menu, which is up against some stiff competition for the best brunch on the Strip. With assorted Bouchon bakery pastries made fresh, it’s unforgettable. Try the Croque Madame or Moules au Safron for a more satisfying breakfast. The Biscuit au Babeurre is served with delicious black pepper gravy, but if you’re craving something sweeter, try the Poulet et des Gaufres bacon chive waffle with its Crown maple syrup. An extensive fruits de Mer menu is also available during brunch hours. French fries are also available, of course, as is fresh French bread with parsley garlic butter.

The Bouchon Price Guide
As one of the most popular fine dining restaurants in Las Vegas, Bouchon at the Venetian Resort is not considered cheap. However, you can also keep your dinner bill on the lower side if you’d like to experience a Chef Thomas Keller restaurant without breaking the bank.
Dinner entrees start at $27 and go as high at $79 for the Steak Bouchon. The Poulet Roti roasted chicken and bacon lardons is average, at $36.50, but is a fan favorite dish. Hors d’oeuvres range from $8 for the deviled eggs to $32 for the terrine de foie gras. We highly recommend the French onion soup starter at just under $20, which is average. Truffle french fries are $19, and are worth the extra if you enjoy the flavor, but the classic and still delicious French fries are only $8.50.
The weekend brunch menu offers Petit Dejeuner Americaine at just $26 with delicious bacon lardons. The Benedicte au Crabe is the more expensive brunch item at $37 and features a Bouchon Bakery English muffin. Larger plates from from the $27 Croque Madame to the $79 Steak Bouchon with French fries.
Fruits de mer is available on both menus with similar pricing. Chef Thomas Keller has created a bakery menu with items featured in many of their signature dishes but also available separately, like their fresh French bread, cheese danish, pain au chocolat, lemon tart and other Bouchon delights.
What Are The Bouchon’s Hours?
The Bouchon bistro is open nightly for dinner from 5:00 pm to 10:00 pm. Weekend brunch is available from 8:00 am to 1:00 pm on Thursday and until 2:00 pm Friday, Saturday, and Sunday.
The Reviews
Past patrons of the Bouchon bistro have wonderful things to say about it. Most reviewers mention the delicious menu items, especially during brunch, and the careful attention to detail for classic French favorites. Many have stated they return often or that they will.
Another consensus among reviewers is the atmosphere within the dining room or when dining al fresco on the patio is all-encompassing and really makes you feel like you are a part of the “vibe” inside the restaurant.
Any negative reviews stated that their food wasn’t up to their expectations but most mentioned that it was also taken care of by restaurant management.
